From the Belgian archives I obtained 10 copied pages of the original notarized document.

Here's the first copy plus the "transcription" of that handwriting.

====================================================

I was fortunate in finding someone willing, able and interested in transcribing the old handwritten document!

The last pages seem to be an addition at the time of the actual handing-over, detailing the conditions of the donation. There are instructions on the storage & location, number of keys, days of display and who is responsible. The "Katte" is supposed to be preserved forever, can not be sold or broken up and must be repaired (if need be) at the expense of the Church.

For those of you who are interested in this bit of history I can now provide both scans of the copies for viewing, as well as the transcription made by the people at
http://www.arsetfides.com/ These files are for dowload & viewing in  Ms-Word. These are BIG FILES, except # 9 & 10 because the scans are included!)

I am very grateful for the kind assistance of Ars et Fides !
